My entire life I have been fascinated by astrology. Little did I know that I only knew about Sun signs. I am a Cancer Sun, Leo Rising with a Capricorn Moon. I have been friends with many Cancer Sun signs in my life and while there were definite similarities there were also definite differences. Was it upbringing or DNA? Was astrology only right part of the time? These were things I wondered about.
In 2017 I discovered natal charts. I kept hearing about them in passing conversations and by Summer had looked up what they were. I was blown away. What in the world did that chart mean?
In 2018 I started studying organically by googling articles and watching YouTube videos. It quickly became my favorite thing to do in my time off.
My Cancer Sun is in my 12th house which means I have a hard time knowing myself! Learning about that placement alone soothed my soul. I have read countless self help books over the years and spent more time than I would like to admit in a therapists chair. I use to really think something was wrong with me having read and studied so much psychology and yet still struggling with self awareness. Astrology provided me with a deep sense of self acceptance. It's a huge relief to know I was specifically designed this way by the divine creative force of the Universe.
Since that time the internet has not been able to provide me with enough information. I am well into my studies of the ancient texts on astrology and am learning and growing as an astrologer.
To me, natal charts are the blueprint of the soul. I can see what's going on with someone, what they're good at and advise how to handle struggles.
I especially enjoy synastry readings! As humans we are naturally born to connect with others. It's in our DNA. When two natal charts are combined I can see how the people involved interact. Every relationship has its strengths and weaknesses. It's nice to know how to lean into the strengths in order to avoid the struggles. Sometimes there isn't a solution to the struggle but a lot of times there is.

My life has changed quite a bit since learning about myself through my natal chart. It has gotten easier and more abundant.
